Version 1.2
MUST have desktop computer input; tedious data entry on iPhone.
Tedious / confusing ADD medications lists: Click on extended (ie: screen-full) list at bottom enables data at {now-unseen Top-of-List}. Accidentally edits when you wanted NEW. Have to LEAVE list at times to SAVE to ensure NEW is Saved.
Interesting / confusing Medication entry method for 2 tables in am and 1 in pm. Use 2 or more instructions. Yields ability to track Coumadin Mon Wed Fri at one dose and rest of week at another. Even MedicAlert can't do that without a phone call (Human Intervention.)
LISTS: add list item option [eg: spouse (existing) & daughter (added)]. Retains list items added; editable.
Standard Finger-cursor-move magnifier does not work. Must "bsckspace" to point of error (cf: "backspace"); inconsistent.
Need ability to DUPLICATE entry to modify (appointment tracking, medication, et al).
Need Multiple phone numbers on Emergency Contacts; had to list wife 3 times, daughter twice, other daughter 3 times; 8 items for 3 contacts.
Need LANDSCAPE keyboard (should be standard rotation on iPhone, is my opinion). Reduces iPhone typos.
Numeric keypad needs telephone separators {-, .}; phone number = 8005551212; 800.555.1212; 800-555-1212.
Backups??? Secure Backups??? Protected by 4-digit lock? Need up to 8 characters/digits.
Expect (way into the future) for this program to replicate THE BODY JOURNAL - an excellent Desktop Program, but has no support / updates since 2005.
As is, Family Version is worth $29.95.
Almost There..

Version 1.2
This is an excellent software!! If you are thinking about buying it, don't hesitate, just buy it. A few things that it needs:
1. it would be nice to be able to "sort" the surgery items by date from newest to oldest, maybe put dates in a field of some kind. Most doctor information forms ask for the most recent first. I have about 20 to look through to try to put them in date order, and it would be nice if it listed them as current to the later.
2. It would be nice to see an extra space or two in the doctors area so an additional office numbers and addresses can be listed. Most doctors have a few different offices. also a note space in the actual Doctor area to write special notes that do not pertain to the office visit itself.
3. It would also be nice to have a section to be able to reselect the doctor (like you have for the medical conditions area). It is really a pain to have to keep retyping the doctors info over and over for appointment and other things,
I only see the option to select the appointment on the full hour. Am I missing something?? Many of my appointments are on the half hour.
This is an EXCELLENT software, it just needs little tweeking for the fine ponts. It would also be nice to have a desktop companion so this infomation can be typed verses hand putting everything in it.
Good but could be better

Version 1.2
This is a great application but could be better. It would be great if I can add doctor contact information fully. This only allows you to enter the doctor's name and (1) phone number but not additional phone numbers or the address, or even website. Please add this feature and separate the telephone number by dashes or spaces to make it easier to read. It would then get 5 stars from me. PLEASE update with these features.
Needs desktop or online input option!

Version 2.4.1
This app is great, but without desktop or online input ability it is tedious to use and I am not likely to complete or update information. It's taken me forever just to get the basic information needed to make the app useful into my phone.
Great app!

Version 1.2
1) allow Drs names in spots to choose from doctor list. It seems redundant to enter name and phone twice 2) allow address to populate for family members 3) My main issue-I thought I would be able to track weight history fir kids but I think it only takes current weight. I can track in notes but this feature would be a huge help 4) pet peve-in the name fields, auto capitalize after spaces like contacts does Overall I am pleased with this app and am looking forward to using it for my kids appointments

Great program, however, when you go back and try to edit something, you basically have to delete it first and then re-enter the information again. Can you please fix this, other wise a great program for the family.
The best medical records App!

Health n Family is the app that I have been waiting for since I purchased my iphone. I have tried the few other Medical Records apps available and found that they were not intuitive and did not meet my needs. This app is easy to use, has all the features needed to keep track of and have available at all times your medical data AND your family member's data as well. I initially had a concern about backup of the data but xCube Labs support assured me that back up was integrated in the program. I have since upgraded my iPhone software and the Health N Family App without any loss of data. I highly recommend this App for one and all. It is well worth installing! Great job xCube!
BMI calculator is wrong

I agree with some other suugestions: should be able to pull contact info from iPhone contacts, track weight/height changes, add period tracker too, and add labs, BP, blood sugar readings etc. The auto calculated BMI is off. Www.nhlbi.NIH.gov/guideli nes/obesity/bmi_tbl.PDF shows it about 1-2 points LOWER than your BMI calculator. (At least for my height and weight). This and weight tracker is important if losing weight, your weight typically fluctuates, or health problems are related to weight & weight changes. (I know some other apps do/may do these things, but it's important to have as much as possible all together in one app).
Useful and very simple that anybody can get used to it.

I wondered that whether my details of the old device would disappear while transfering to the new 3GS.
But it didn't happen so, I wrote to the support regarding the issue.
And followed the simple steps which they've guided and retained my whole data back.
It's just by taking the backup of whole device and again restoring the backup to the new device.
Love the app :)

Basic Application Needs Work

Version 1.2
This application captures basic health information, but needs considerable work to make this program more functional. In addition, the application crashed often during the data entry process. Functionally, the medication records allows for the most detail. Specific medicines can be tagged to their associated medical conditions. Unfortunately, the amount of information that can be included in records for surgeries is very limited. One can add an attachment to each record, but it would be most helpful instead to add fields that would allow descriptions of summary information. There is also a need for an entirely new section that would enable one to track long-term physical test results for Cholesterol, HgA1C, Blood Pressure, Weight, etc.
