ActiveWin is a news app that features feeds and web links from the ActiveWin network, a great resource for tech. news, particularly involving Microsoft, Apple, and gaming news. Fans of the news site will appreciate the convenience of monitoring ActiveWin news and review updates directly on their iPhone.
Beyond the RSS feeds and web links, The ActiveWin app contains in-app email, Twitter integration, search, and a full-screen web browser. There are many more creature-features for you to explore. It even features parental controls.

The application is built on the Flitter! engine and thus offers all functionality enjoyed by the pay-for application, however some features are restricted:

* You cannot remove or edit the ActiveWin network feeds.
Other than those two restrictions, the Flitter! user manual and support forums are all applicable.
ActiveWin requires iPhone OS 3.0 or newer.

What's New In This Version?
This takes ActiveWin up to the Flitter! 2.0.5 engine. Several bug fixes and new features have been added to Flitter since the last ActiveWin update:
* Import, Export
* Feed Discovery
* Article Thumbnails
* Improved parental controls
* New app support services (settings/support)
* App-store links can now be opened
* More podcast attachment formats supported
ActiveWin, being a lite version, still has limits to the number of user-configurable items which limits the usefulness of some of these new features, however we wanted you to have the latest fixes as well.
