This works just as advertised for emailing short audio clips. It's the best I've found so far for my purpose- quick emails back home while traveling. Unlike QuickVoice, you are not limited to 30 second messages. If you choose a practical target of 2MB or smaller file size, this gives you about 2 minutes and 15 seconds of recording time. The ability to include a Google location map and photos are also nice features for travelers. The biggest problem I have is that you can't send to a Group of addresses. They have to be selected one by one from your Contacts (AddressBook) or entered manually. QuickVoice and other voice to email apps I've tried work similarly. On the plus side, this app lets you specify the default From address and one default To address. And when you start typing in a name, autocomplete from your contacts works here just as in the Mail app. When sending, clicking on the + in the address field lets you choose recipients from your contacts one by one. (Tip- If your commonly-used addresses are in a Group in your Contacts, go to Contacts beforehand and select this Group of addresses. Then when you go to the addresses in Say It & Mail it, you won't have to scroll through the entire address book to find the ones you want, and autocomplete will restrict itself to this Group.) The only important missing feature I see is the lack of a timer or running file size indicator. Workaround: I set the Auto-Lock on my iPod Touch to 2 minutes, and when the screen dims, I know I have about 20 seconds left before I hit 2MB file size. A Pause button while recording would also be nice.

This is a very simple to use and handy app. Just thought of something you don't want to forget? Open the app, tap "record" and talk. Hit "stop", then "send", and it's off, automatically going to your inbox. Voila, you've got an email with your bright idea! To send to someone else takes about 2 more taps, done. The quality of the recording is great, and the dev promises the ability to add pics soon! Love it.

I constantly have to write reminder notes to myself for my job. This app is outstanding; it does exactly as it states and is a snap to use. No longer do I need to type out long notes to myself; now I just say it and send it off to my email. Simplifies my life. Highly recommended!

What a great app! I take a photo with my iphone, attach it to email along with my comments and send it to my clients. It is a more personal touch to attach your voice along with an email. My clients love it. Thanks

I just bought this program hoping it would work as it says, and it does!!!!!! What a time saver it is to be able to send a reminder to yourself or a message to a friend or coworker without having to type it out. Just hit record, then stop and then send. Could not be quicker or easier. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Version 1.3
No problems sending email for me. I love this app.
So many ways to use it but I love being able to park my car at the mall and easily find it later.
I turn on the map locater and then take a picture of my car in the parking spot and leave a voice memo describing where my car is.
Then send the email to myself.
Then when I need to find my car, I just look at the email I sent to myself on my iPhone and click on the Google Map link for GPS directions to my car.
Very cool being able to do all this with one app.
Not sending for me.

I think the idea of this app is slick, although most of it one can do with the native apps that come on 3.0+. This ties it together nicely. Problem for me has been after I send, nothing gets received. Anyone else having this issue? Running 3.0 on a 3GS.
Does what it says very well.

Version 1.3
App does what it says and generally works very well. I get a hiccup where it sends the link to Google Maps rather than a picture of where I was when I made recording, but the App works well and no crashes to date. 4 Stars because user interface for add-ons like location and adding pictures could be a little better. That said, very nice!

Important Instructions Missing

Version 1.4
This is a good app BUT there are no detailed instructions that say once you stop recording you must email recording to save it. I attempted to record my mothers funeral for relatives that couldn't make it. I paused the recording during the service and lost the majority of the recording. A shame that instructions aren't clear about this.
