Description
Where are you?

WITH FriendWatch, you can share to your love ones and trusted friends where you are currently or where you are going. Send your updates either through IPhone or Facebook.

✓ MAP ON FACEBOOK lets your permitted friends monitor your locations even WITHOUT AN IPHONE. When available, the map also shows the current weather condition of each location.

✓ EASY TO USE AND SETUP. If you already have a Facebook account, you are ready to go! Simple and familiar interface without the bells and whistles. Perfect for people who just want to push a button to share their location.

✓ CONTROL YOUR PRIVACY. Your location updates can only be seen by your permitted friends.

✓ NOTHING IS SAVED ON OUR SERVER. Because your data are all saved on Facebook's data store, we do not have access to your personal information, not even your published location. (Be warned of the other apps that are saving your data on their servers.)

✓ SHARE YOUR STATUS whether you need help, or just having fun. In an emergency, FriendWatch for IPhone has a PANIC button that will send Facebook notifications to your permitted friends.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Facebook imposes daily limits for notifications. That means that some NOTIFICATIONS may NOT be sent.

✓ OPTION TO PUBLISH TO YOUR FRIEND'S WALL. Update your FriendWatch location and write to your friends' wall at the same time.

✓ LINK YOUR FACEBOOK FRIENDS TO YOUR ADDRESS BOOK for quick and easy access to their contact info.

Finally a 'post my location and share it to my friends on a private/public basis' app that does simply what it's supposed to do ;-) I've tried tons and I think that's the one I am going to keep!

Version 1.3
Hi, I tried this and it works fine technically but it has plotted my location 20 miles from where I am! On wi-fi it has me 10 miles from where I am and on 3G it has me 5 miles from where I am. Needs work.

Version 1.4
My wife checks my location on facebook (she does not have an IPhone). She loves that map on facebook.
When I can afford another IPhone, I'll buy one for my teen.
Every one should get this app.
