I'm an environmentalist so I like that more people are going green, but this app is bull. These are obscure and mostly false tips. For example, buying a laptop does not help the environment, especially since they contain mercury. The units have already been made so buying it won't make a difference. It's not like a car that omits harmful gases. The tip should be to not throw out computers, but recycle them. Tip 2 says to donate rugs to animal shelters. Although this is altruistic, it has nothing to do with the environment. Rugs can be recycled to make new products. I got to 3 and quit. I know that it would be great if everyone went out of their way to help the environment, but these tips go too far. There's pratical and inconvienient. Just recycle and not use products like Lysol is all I ask.

Here's the truth about this app. The author is capitalizing on the buzzword "Go Green". The proof is in the claims about the silly and boring tips. Read for yourself the other reviews posted here. The author is placating us with pathetically lame green tips because the purpose of the app is to generate revenue via ads. The "going green" buzz is only a lure to line his/her pockets with green. By all means please download the app and do your part.

Right off the bat, the tip to buy a laptop. It's about more than energy use, it's about materials and waste. Laptop includes a very toxic and large battery. An upgradable tower (apple are you out there?) with an efficient power supply and a screen you can keep for a decade is the much greener option. And you're less likely to drop it and need a replacement.

Many thanks to the developer for making this app available for free, although it would be worth paying for. The tips are not the obvious things we hear all of the time. I have found it to be very useful. I can't believe somebody left a negative comment saying that the app is boring! If you want to be entertained, you can download monkeyball in the games category. This is a reference tool, not an arcade game.

This app is simply the dumbest app in the world... Officialy. If you have a brain this app isn't for you. But if you don't have any common sence this is the perfect app for you.

Wow. Seriously. Wow. This app is so freakin terrible it is not worth it taking up the icon space on my phone. The tips are truely retarded. Instead of useful info like changing your bulbs to compact flourecents, they'll say things like stop clubbing baby seals as often. Or take a poop in a shoe box to conserve toilet water, then walk your poop box over to your local bean farmer and give it to him for fertilizer. Whats worse is that not only does it fail conceptually, it fails on usability as well! You have to close and re-open the program every time just to get another "tip"! Probably to increase ad revenue to the publisher by falsely creating more hits. Quite possibly the worst app ever made- and it's free! I should actually give it five stars because it has to be some kind of record to create the worst app ever made. Wanna be green? Don't waste your battery life downloading this app. That's the best tip you'll get. Update: only thing more retarded than this app is ms love green Miss love green= big dumb poopy head

This app is super helpful about little things that we can do each day, but it gets kind of annoying when you have to constantly open and close the app to get new tips.

Nice! Seems to work just as advertised. Would be nice if the list view used shorter, more succinct titles so that if you are looking for one , you might find it. Keep up the good work.
