Version 1.0
Purchase using iTunes on PC and the installation failed.
Tried again using the App Store on the phone and the installation worked (I think.)
When I run Vocalia, it puts up a changing purple dot and a message that says "Phonetizing, please wait a few seconds..."
After about a minute, it dies and the phone returns to the home screen.
I have quite a few contacts, but that is the point.

Terrible - is a BETA version!?!?!

Version 1.0
Not even close at the moment.

Gets a correct contact for me about %10 percent of the time. This needs MUCH improvement. Not good at the moment.

Hope the next version is WAY better than this one.

Hold off for now.

Major turn off if only finds names but doesn't dial them. I need to say call "contact" and expect that contact to appear and then actually call

Version 2.0
Having used Voice Dial prior to 3.0 (won't work with 3.0). I am use to an app that UNDERSTANDS a name when you say it. I had high hopes for this app when I read the description. It fell short in every way. I asked Creaceed for a refund and I hope to receive one. What a waste of $3.99!
Happiness!

Version 2.1
This application works very well. It loads quickly on my 3G and even performs satisfactorily when there is background noise. It was not at all a waste of money. For those complaining that auto dial does not work, I found that after it retrieves a contact, one simply need say "mobile" or "home", or whatever the assigned label, whereupon it will auto dial.
Not so good...

Version 2.0
I just bought version 2.0 and tried it out, hoping it would work nearly as good as Apple's voice control for 3GS, but it doesn't detect what I say, I say "Coldplay clocks" and it gives results from a totally different artist. I'm hoping this will be fixed in the next release.
Disappointed

Version 2.0
I was hoping to gain some of the functionality of the 3GS, but this app isn't the answer. Inaccurate, slow, and a real waste of $$. Considering the cost of other apps, at the current price this one is a real loser!
Good but needs more

Version 2.0
This works relatively well for me although its accuracy is not at the level of that found in Windows mobile smart phones. It will help you find contacts, songs, and bookmarks all by voice but when you want to do anything with what you find, like play a song for example, the application has to quit to do so. So if you want to find another song, for example, you have to start the application back up. I'm using this on my iPod touch 2G so I'm not certain if the same thing happens when you try to place a call but it does happen with both music and bookmarks.

It would be nice if there were iPod voice commands for pausing, playing, and moving to the next and previous track but there are not. There also are no voice commands for doing anything within the Safari browser after you open a bookmark from Vocalia. Perhaps this is due to another limitation by Apple?

These limitations aside though Vocalia is reasonably useful for finding contacts, songs, and bookmarks quickly by voice then executing basic commands on them. It's sort of like a "voice operated Spotlight". Hopefully in the future more features will be added that offer greater voice-activated control over the iPod in particular. Until that happens I can only give this three stars.
Awesome app

Version 2.0.2
I just bought this app and it's awesome. The sad part is that I have an iPod touch, so no calling for me. I'd really like to see a bit more iPod control, like when asking for songs in a playlist it'll actually play the playlist not just your chosen song.
