Wikimap® Lite makes the mobile device an important neighborhood location resource. It allows you to accurately show your location on a street map (Open Street Map (OSM)). It provides detailed information for points of interest nearby using Wiki.Alumni.NET pages which are supplied by the 5 million members of Alumni.NET. You can use Wikimap Lite to search for nearby establishments such as hospitals, banks, and restaurants. Within each wiki page, Wikimap Lite can be used to view more detailed information such as phone numbers, store hours, menus, mass schedules, and hotel reviews. It has a simple interface for creating new points, and uploading pictures which are automatically shared to Alumni.NET users.

Wikimap Lite now supports in-app purchase of premium features. The paid features are divided into three sets. Features A is support for offline maps and markers. Features B includes proximity search, personal points, and auto centering of current location. Features C allows the user to view satellite maps by Microsoft Virtual Earth.
