The Road Rules test was designed specifically for California State with questions similar to those found on the DMV written driver test. After you’ve studied the driver manual sharpen your knowledge using our exam simulator.

Very cool looking app, I'm not sure how effective it is at teaching all that you need to know, as I'm not yet an experienced driver. I will say that although a cool addition, it's pretty clear they tossed in the driving manual PDF as an afterthought. It's a 100 page document, and they give you no means of skipping ahead pages, bookmarking, or searching the text, and the position resets upon program quit. It's great that you have a comprehesive testing app, but it's no good to me if I can't effectively read the manual.

I got this to help me prepare for my permit test, but I definitely don't think it's worth the $2.99. Maybe if it was only $.99 it would be a good deal, but there are not 150 questions, there are 143, and many of them are repeated several times, so there are fewer unique questions. It runs fine, but there's just not enough unique material to be truly helpful on the permit test. Hopefully the price will be lowered or there will be an upgrade.

Beware. Some of these questions come up on the test but the answers were different then those learned from this program. I have to learn the material all over again from another source.
Ugly as hell, but you will past your test!

I'm editing my previous review cuz after studying for the exam using this app for 2 weeks ... I took my exam today and passed on 1st try !! It could use a few improvements but overall I'm sure it'll come in handy if your taking the exam. Easiest form of Study guide possible ... Study it for a few days and you'll surely pass it. Good Luck 2 ya !! 

You will not pass the permit test with this. Doesnt help at all. None of the question are on the permit test. They are totally different. Waste of money do not buy.
