Hands down, by far, best photography app for iPhone. The best part is shaking it to make the image appear faster! I also love the little noise it makes when the photo is being "developed" - just like a real Polaroid camera. Super fun: I haven't stopped using this app since I purchased it this morning. My friends and I can't get enough and the photos look JUST like a polaroid- only better! Perfection! UPDATE: Use EXISTING photos by pressing cancel when the app defaults to the camera. Choose a pic from your library and it processes it! You can even re-process the same photo for a cool effect! All the other photo apps don't look as great and as realistic as shakeitphoto. STILL the best photo app there is for the iPhone!
Love this app.

I find myself using this app more than most other apps. It's the best 99 cent app offered. The photos come out fantastic and they look really authentic.
Was GREAT, not so great anymore

Before the new OS, this app was one of my very favorites. It forced you to compose your photo in a square as opposed to a rectangle, which I liked a LOT! Then with the new OS, you preview (as in looking through a view finder) with a rectangle that is not representative of the square you end up with. If you compose your shot with the full sized rectangle, and the final is a cropped version of what you saw in the "view finder", your composition is lost. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I don't get the point. I copy pictures from my ipod to look like a polaroid and they are not as good or as sharp as the original. What a waste. Or is there some point I am missing?

It's got great sound and visual effects. I used to shoot Polaroid instants and this mimics them very well.
Ummm- so what? There are other apps that make "Polaroids", and they don't waste half your life doin it. You take the picture and then you sit. And you wait. Then you get bored and frustrated so you shake it to speed things up and get on with your life.
It does make fine pictures but there not "instant" in todays terms. Interesting at first but the novelty wears off about the first few shots.
Feel the love...

How about different Polaroid backs? Like a 600 or a land or the old peel nagative? How about black and white? Otherwise the app I use the most.

I can't put this app down. It's so much fun that it makes the iPhone's subpar camera a joy to use! In fact, ever since I got ShakeItPhoto I actually enjoy the challenge of seeing what great shots I can capture on the go. I love that the processing pumps up the contrast and saturation to turn a boring shot into something dynamic and exciting. All this being said, there are a few improvements I'd like to see in a future update. 1. Option to save the original image in addition to the ShakeItPhoto Polaroid version. 2. Option to write a caption at the bottom of the photos. 3. Direct integration with the iPhone photo album so you can look at the photos you've taken without exiting the app. These improvements aside, this is truly a homescreen worthy app in every way!

This is the best polaroid app out there today. Does one thing and does it well. The colors are spectacular when compared to other apps such as Polarize. In addition to better colors, the resolution is far superior as well. The only thing I'd like to see added to this app would be the option to choose polaroid style frames. I would love to see the addition of the wide bottom border polaroid frame. Perhaps in the next update? Hint Hint.

Aside from the cool polaroid effect the processing of the pictures captured from the iPhone camera is amazing. Closest I have seen to what a real polaroid snapshot looks like. Highly recommended.

Version 1.2
This app is great. Takes bland photos with poor saturation and quality and makes them fun and enjoyable! I never before wanted to take photos with my iPhone. Now I can't put it down. I tell all iPhone users to get this app. Issues: has a tendency to crash, would be nice if animation could be turned off, especiallly if that meant app would have more available memory.

1. The fact that you can't compose your image in a square format is frustrating and leads to too much of guess-work when you're setting up your shot.
2. Being able to transform already existing photos from your camera roll is great! But (again) you can't choose the part of the image that ends up being used. If it's not a center-weighted photo, it will look funny.
3. Crashes about once every 20 photos while it's "developing".
4. Options would be awesome... like the ability to pick different tonal values, black & white, etc. I'd also love the option to turn "shaking to develop faster" off when I don't feel like waiting.
so good.

Version 1
Very worthy application. The effects are perfect and produce some beautiful shots. Definitely gives the crappy iPhone camera some personality. The only thing I would love to see is the ability to center you own photo crop.
