DC Metro Map

This app is useless - no better than saving a PDF copy of the metro map from the web - at least you can zoom in on a PDF.

It appears to be only intended to get you to buy their more extensive product. It asks to use you Location, but it never uses it. Unless you're familiar with where you are, and how the stations are named, you can't find out what's near you.

If all you want is a straight-forward non-interactive map of the DC metro system, then this app is for you. This is not nearly as good as some of the paid apps, but since this is free, it remains my app of choice for navigating the metro. If you need updates on metro delays as well, I suggest following @wmata on Twitter, which is also free.

This app is great if you need a quick look at the DC Metro now and then. Good accurate map of all the stops. You can zoom in and out. Just what I needed. To all the bad reviews... THIS IS FREE! Delete it and go waste money elsewhere. There is only one small banner add at the top, nothing too annoying. I wish I could leave a review for all the dumb reviewers!

I been waiting for this app like forever. I remember the day I moved to Maryland I didn't know what line to take, cause I used to lived in VA, now this app it goin to help me a lot.. LOL ::: Thanks much!

Great app when it worked pre-iOS 4. Since updating I'm simply getting a blank black screen. Its like the image just shows as black instead of the map. I'd consider buying the paid version that is a bit more interactive if they could update the free one to work properly. I'm not going to plunk down $$$ for a dev who has yet to update the app to be iOS compatible.

It's just a map of the system, not even a streetmap like the metroopensdoors.com website offers; however it's not Internet-based and would be useful for tourists or others unfamiliar with the system who don't want to have to dig out a map all the time.

Does exactly as it's suppose to.

As stated previously, using the WMATA version which includes the street intersections would make this simple app even better.

Exactly as advertised. Finally a free map of the metro system, I love the zoom. I can't wait for Capital Rails to come out!

Much easier to use than a paper map. And with the zoom feature I don't need my glasses.

All you get is the Metro map!!!???? No info on delays, schedules etc.

It keeps me from whipping out the paper map and having everyone look at me and thinking to themselves that I'm worthless for never had rode metro before! There are times when I forget what stop I'm suppose to get off of, that's when this becomes handy. The only issue is that iPod touch does have the ability to have a low battery at the wrong time (hint hint)
