First I want to say the new beamME pro is fantastic. I used the original before, but this gives me and my organization os much more power to be seen and heard. I run a non-profit for adults and kids with diabetes. I contacted Gage Zichermann CEO and asked him to donate the pro version to our organization. I did not think it would happen. Next morning, surprise! I was excited to receive an e-mail directly from Gabe letting me know he would love to donate to our cause and organization. I also received an e-mail from Katie Russ Community Manager following up to make sure I had the code to download our pro version. I have had the pro version for about 24 hours and already it has made my life easier being able to beam multiple cards for purposes relating to our organization at different levels. All I can say is FANTASTIC App, Thank You Gabe and the rest of beamME pro and keep up the great work. There should be more companies like this helping non-profit organization with there apps. Thanks again Gabe and Katie.

So simple yet effective out on the field. Business cards Will be a thing of the past because of apps like this. Great for the environment and much more professional. The fact that this group, is giving back to the environment is worth it in itself!!!!

I noticed this app in the "New and Noteworthy" section of iTunes last week and thought *great idea!*. I bought the app after reading all the reviews. Now, it's not perfect (I've yet to find the perfect app), but it's clearly a useful and very professional effort. I was iffy about the price, but you can't beat a refund guarantee if you don't like it. I use it a lot. I'm not sure I understand what some of the other reviewers are complaining about, cause I've found this app does exactly what it says, and more than I can get elsewhere. Maybe iPhone 3.0 will fix their issues?

I never, ever seem to carry businesscards. Least of all when I need them. I mean, I actually marvel that the business card still exists today! What is it with people exchanging cards?? It's ridiculous. This is the perfect app. I just beam people my info, to their email, phone, whatever. It's phone and platform independent. Sends you all my relevant info (social networks, etc.), and now I get a history and personal notes. Really, one of the few apps I use on a regular basis. For the price, and for the lack of business cards, it's worth it.

Not a bad program, but you should visit the Web site. It allows you to send one main address card to another person only after signing up. Info then passes through their servers and then out to your contact via SMS or Email. The other user doesn't have to sign up for anything, but what are they doing with the database? Company is very responsive and seems positively legit, but you have to wonder if your data is future proof. More importantly, it's a subscription service. You pay $1.99 and then you have to pay a continuous monthly fee afterward to maintain product use. No where does it explicitly include this information. Not on the iTunes description and not on the Web site. This feature renders the app useless to me. Who is willing to pay $2/month to send apps? They should charge for high usage customers only a monthly fee. Everyone else should get xx free sends per month or something. Try the free version and be prepared to only send a biz card and not personal contact info. Free version limits you to sending one card only -- yours.

I bought it thinking that it I can finally forward my contact directly to peoples' cell phones, but instead the receiving party gets a LINK to go to a WEBSITE to retrieve the info. This is far from convenient! Just wasted good money on this download which I don't see myself using for more than ONCE (n that was for testing purpose).

This application does not accomplish the key features advertised. It does not SMS vcard information. The application sends a link to the party to sign in and register to download a file. I am not interested in this. More than 75% of the time it does not work with iPhone parties, and the rest of the time it looks like spam. Horrible features and an ourageous prices mean this is the worst thing I have ever purchased on iTunes.

This app is a good idea but not everyone has a multimedia phone. In order for anyone to get your info they have to access a link in a text message. It's a joke. I'm self employed and tried it and ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

It's bad enough that the service is subscription based. For those of us who still are interested in being held captive to a subscription, the app fails to provide that: Unable to fetch subscription upgrade options. A catch 22 in that it's crippled without the subscription and you can't get it!!
Subscription fee is a deal beaker.

This app should be the standard $4.99. That price gets you 1 month of usage. I will give this app a better review when they get rid of the subscription and let you buy the app.
