Just what is says....IT READS entry dates FROM contact/address book. No options for DIRECT entry from application itself.

Right now the app scans the whole contact list and pulls out all of the bdays/dates and displays them, regardless of how far out the event is. Obviously, knowing that someone's bday is 200 days from now is useless information for me and just adds "noise" to the list of records. To the developer.......please add filters to only display contacts with events that are within xx number of days (make xx configurable). i have a lot of contacts with a lot of dates and this would help me focus on only those contacts who's bdays are within the next xx days. if you implement that feature, this would be an above average app. thanks.

This is an excellent app, and has even better customer support. I noticed an issue and e-mailed the developer from an in-app option. Not only did I receive a response the same day with an apology and an effective work-around (including detailed steps on how to do it), but an update with a fix was released a few days later! That is probably the best customer service I have seen in the app store!!!

Like the new features (Zodiac signs are cute). Could you consider putting in Holidays and alarms? Everything else is great!

Nice try but STILL missing the alarm feature many, in prior reviews, have found noticeably absent.
I was hoping this would be the replacement app for DateMate which I had on my Palm for years. Having multiple alarms for each event allowed you the ability to receive an alarm, for instance, a week ahead in time to mail a card, and another on the day of the event.
Oliver would be well served to look closely at the DateMate application and emulate its features. The alarm feature alone would put this app at the top of its peers in this category. Many are crying out for this feature, is anyone listening?

This app needs to have a few options in looking forward or even backwards. Say a 30, 60, 90, and 1 year period. It also needs to allow to enter data like a person has an Uncle and Aunt. You can not enter both Birthdays in one calender contact and I do not need them listed twice just for their birthdays or anniversary. Make these two changes and quickly before anyone one else and you will earn your money for sure.

The lay out and functionally were well designed. Seemless sync with contacts when you open the app for the first time. It does how ever lack a little compared to other apps. It does not provide reminders and countdown for use holays or interface with Facebook like other apps. These functions are very important to me so I will continue to use the apps until this one has been updated. At that time I write a new review and give it five stars.

This is a nice app that works as advertised. It scans your contact list for birthdays (and other dates if you choose) and puts them in list order, starting with the current date. The only thing I would like to see added to it is some kind of alert system. If that were included, it would be a 5 star app. UPDATED: this app has continuously been improved. Definitely worth the five stars!!!

This is a really nice birthday reminder application with many choices about how you would like for it to work. I have tried a competitor, which is nice enough, but without the customization possibilities in this one. Push notifications are a nice addition, and they work as advertised. Well worth the price.
