Description
TALL BIKE JOUST (TBJ) delivers the ultimate in 3D action gaming with the distinct thrill of first person, one to one combat jousting with spectacular body blows and dismantling wipeouts. TBJ gamers use strategy along with skill to participate in this uniquely fierce world of underground tall bike jousting. TBJ enables gamers to craft a character’s competitive capabilities and customize bike gear that fortify both the Player and his or her bike. Players compete in QUICK JOUSTS and longer TOURNAMENT battles to increase their ability to defeat opponents in their quest to be the World Champion.

Game play strategy comes in the form of managing your character’s HEART meter and attribute points such as POWER, SPEED and GUARD. Each winning match increases the Player’s ranking and attribute points, enabling character development and equipment upgrades. Leader boards, achievements and forums connected to Facebook and Twitter postings broadcast a players rank and announce who’s playing.

TBJ features six different post-apocalyptic cityscapes; Brooklyn under the BQE; Minneapolis covered in snow and ice; Reno features punishing sand and sun; New Orleans delivers a post-Katrina French Quarter; Hong Kong's back alley has blinding neon; and Amsterdam the bicycle capital of the world. Each tournament has 3 rounds and true to all tall bike jousting challenges, players can choose their opponents. Beat the tournament defender to become the Regional Champion and unlock other tournament locations. The supreme confrontation is to joust Doyle – the Official Tall Bike Jousting Champion of the World, to secure the top spot and achieve eternal fame.

BikeClub Games’ “Tall Bike Joust” (TBJ) was inspired by the superindie cult film B.I.K.E., chronicling the Black Label Bike Club and their legendary tall bike jousting exhibitions. http://fountainhead.com.

Horrible lag problems. Character jumps all over the screen. Lose matches before they even start. This game has some serious issues. Was fun while it worked right.
Lots of fun

I was skeptical about getting this, I figured it was just some lame get rich idea that fed off the fringe culture. This is nothjng like that at all, game is very polished and lots of fun. This game makes me want to go weld 2 bikes together and hit people woth a pvc pole and then drink a case of PBR. Congrats dudes you made a game out of something that attracts a few, enjoyable by anyone. That is not an easy task.

I've been making excuses for this one but it's just bad. Its like a gross, squatter punk RPG with terrible controls. More time is spent loading and tweaking than actually playing. Looks clever, I really wanted to like it but once the novelty wears off it's just not fun. If there were a free version to try it out... but then I probably would never have bought this. Take the $3 you got from the blood bank and buy some malt liquor.
no tubes

the bonus items are messed up a little. i beat the game without getting a single tube, so i couldnt make any wheels. very fun game though. please add more weird stuff like the bunny suit. also the camera angles need adjusting in battle after you hit your opponent. you cant see if your rider fell off first or anything. it just scans the ground.
Another Great one!

This one came out of nowhere. Right when I saw it, I was interested immediately. I looked up a You-Tube video of this game and that sealed it. Other than thefact that this is very original, it's very fun. They made great use of the accelerometer. At first, pedaling is a bit awkward but you get used to it. I love that this game has a bunch of different locations. That always drives the value up for me personally. If you like biking games, Check this one out. It's funny, I have been downloading a lot of games that I feel are 5 star games! Tall Bike Joust is a very original and fun game. I can't wait to see more from this very talented group or people. The ONLY thing I dont like at all is the icon. It looks terrible on my iPod next to all those beautiful icons. PLEASE CHANGE THAT AWFUL ICON!!! Great Job Guys!

I've been waiting for Tall Bike Joust to be released and it totally surpassed my expectations. Cool use of the 3D environments - I dig the characters and the locations. The game's soundtrack rocks with songs from Matt and Kim, as well as Japanther! I really like the innovative controls - pedaling the Tall Bike with your thumbs makes the gameplay extra fun when your going in for the joust. This game is worth the money! Get it now!

Liked the game but would like the points to go higher than 999 after beating the game. Also when both players fall off bike it should be a draw not a loss pls fix that. Also there should be crowds of people surrounding the jousting as you play just like the Intro video
Good
