Version 1.1
I have the Matthew Henry Full Commentary available in other apps but was intrigued by this application that offered it at a super price, and the commentary was it's only function. The developer seemed to have good reviews on other apps so I took a chance with this one. This application does what it is supposed to without a lot of unnecessary add-ons, and is super easy to use. An easy to reference Matthew Henry Full Commentary was what I was looking for. Initially the font was a bit small and not able to be adjusted, but that was quickly remedied by this clever developer, and now a font adjusting touch area adorns the top margin. I give 5 Stars for Ease of Use and functionality, and another 5 Stars for the developers desire to improve functionality when he hears there is room for improvement. Plain and simply, this is the Matthew Henry Full Commentary ready to be read and studied.

Version 1.3
I was searching for a nice app that had the entire commentary on and I found more than I had hoped! This is very easy to use and is worth every bit of the .99!!! I was shocked that it was so cheap! Now, with the new update, it remembers where you left off. It is the perfect application!!! Thank you

Wow! All 5 full, complete volumes of Matthew Henry's commentaries for only .99cents?! This is one of the best purchases I have made in the app store. This app is another reason to be excited to read the Word of God. Thank you so much, development team!

Version 1.3
You can really get a lot of reference material through Matthew Henry's classic commentary on the bible, but this app is very basic and lacks many features that would make using it better. There is no note feature for you to enter your own comments, the copy feature for verses isn't clearly explained (how do you get them back after you copy them?) and the overall execution of the app is pretty plain as far as being able to look up chapters and verses.

Is it useful? Yes and no. Some of the commentary is dated and offers some archaic views of the bible in its day. But it offers some pretty interesting stuff as far as background history of events in the bible and food for thought about God.

Considering that you are getting the entire MHC for under a buck, you should be able to get more than enough usage out of this app.
Great!!!

For 99 cents, you get the complete massive commentary by Matthew Henry. It's laid out in a very intuitive manner. Henry's commentary is great reading. Even if you don't agree with him doctrinally on all points, he has a wealth of information and insight to share with any serious bible student. Get this.

Version 1.2
Completely agree. Very intuitive. 5 stars for simplicity and design. Not clunky or overly frilly, just a very straight forward interface that has every feature I want. Thank you so much. Nice to have the complete set in my pocket. My other set didn't fit . Only one suggestion: a sleeker icon. Apple's icons are very, well, iconic. Something that would stand among apple's ranks; modern but simple. Anyway, thanks for a great app I'll be using all the time. Some apps seem like a good idea to get at the time, but end up taking up space and collecting virtual dust. Not this one. Like I said, I'll be using this all the time.
