Description
Summer sale!

Grab it while it's hot(outside)

Sale ends the first of August.

Get it now, tell your friends, go crazy!

It's therapeutic somehow to jump, bounce, high into the sky!

The objective in Skybound is to bounce a ball upwards using the clouds that appear at your fingertips. Along the way you will encounter both obstacles and powerups, which make your journey all the more interesting.

There are three different game modes: Easy, Normal and Boss Mode, all of which have different rules and challenges. Easy and Normal Mode are both about gaining as much altitude as possible without plummeting to the ground. Easy Mode is recommended for beginners, as it has a gentler difficulty curve and some helpful features you won't find in any other modes.

Boss Mode is all about defeating the Observer, a big floating eye. In this mode you are not scored on how high you fly, but rather on how well you fight!

All three game modes feature local high scores. You can also compete against people from all over the world in our online high score tables!

Unlockable challenges along the way adds extra longevity to an already addictive game!

Jump, keep jumping to the sky!

Great game with lovely artwork, and excellent value for money. Having spent most of this morning competing with a colleague for the top of the high score table, I can say that this game is definitely very more-ish.

The inclusion of 'achievements' to unlock and a worldwide high score table will also add to the longevity of this title.

Highly recommended.

Some of the best things in life are the simplest. This is definitely true of Skybound. On the surface, it seems like such a simple concept - keep the ball moving upwards by drawing a virtual cloud to bounce it higher. There really isn't much more to it than that, but that simplicity is what makes this game so worthwhile.

As mentioned, the goal is to bounce the ball upwards by drawing a virtual springboard cloud to bounce your ball higher and higher. There are power ups that temporarily increase your bounce and other's that cause your ball to bounce at a lower height. Drawing is handled by simply drawing a line across the screen. The direction of the ball is controlled by the angle you draw your cloud line so it's not just random hopping and bouncing.

The graphics in this game are simplistic, but very beautiful at the same time. As your ball travels up, you get higher and higher until, well, you can play the game to find out. Needless to say, this was a pleasant surprise and considering the direction I was going.

The heart of the game is the quick and simple "pick up and play" nature of the game. Leaving the game saves your position so you can alway hop right back where you left off. The truely addictive quality is striving to be the top player in the online leader board by just playing that "one more game". There are very few games that have you wanting to just get that one more shot, and this is definitely one of those games.

Kudo's to the developer for creating such a great game from a deviously simple concept. This game is on the first page of my iPod and will remain there for a long time. I highly recommend this game if you are a fan of games like Arknoid or Pong with a little more strategy and interactivity.
As addicting as the first tetris!!!

This game is simple, fast paced and relaxing at the same time. The art has a sort of washed out look to it, with a very surreal level design. Been playing this game more than ANY of the $10 games.
Good stuff!

You draw clouds with your finger to get the ball higher and higher. The clouds disappear after a few seconds and you have to draw another when the ball is near. It has easy, normal and boss modes with online high scores for normal and boss. It has challenges which are like achievements. You can resume after hitting the home or the power button. It's simple to play, but takes skill to get higher scores.
Good stuff

I bought this game on a whim, not knowing what to expect. Turns out, it's now one of my favorite games for the iPhone. It's such a simple game, yet endlessly playable. It has everything it should have: goals, unlockables, online high scores, etc. Get it while it's on sale, I doubt you'll regret it.
So fun

The graphics remind me of Yoshi's Island or Paper Mario kinda. It's a fun game for young and old.

If you can stand the occasionally annoying controls and levels which result in cheap deaths, it's a pretty fun game.
A little bug

There's a bug when you exit the app while in the middle of a game, the game will slow down when you relaunch the app. Don't know if it's just a problem on the 3gs though. Despite that, 5 stars
