Beware of the invite system!

This app is a great idea, but I need to warn everyone of the method this application uses to allow you to invite others to sign up. If you click on "Invite" and then "iPhone Contacts," the app will send an invitation email to EVERY email address in your address book. I was expecting to be able to select specific people who I wanted to invite, but instead everyone I know got spammed with an invitation. This includes my work contacts, my landlord, and clients. This is unacceptable and sneaky. I can't recommend this app.

I thought this sounded like a cool app, but I deleted it immediately for this reason: I wanted to send invitations to a few people, but as soon as I clicked the button to send to people in my iPhone's contact list, Knocking sent invitations to EVERYONE in my list. No confirmation, no chance to choose select people. This email went out to hundreds of personal and business contacts, most of whom I know do not have iPhones.
DO NOT USE INVITE FEATURE IN THIS APP (SPAMS ALL YOUR CONTACTS)!!!

It starts sending emails to all your iPhone contacts without asking you which contacts you want to invite. This is really bad and probably a privacy violation.
Now they claim rights to your video??

The latest update requires you to agree to new Terms & Conditions. One of those is that Knocking now retains the right to use your video in just about any way they see fit. So, uh, don't transmit anything you don't want the world to see. Big brother is watching.

You can see your love at work, you can tuck your kids in bed even if your not there! Worked just fine on my first try! PEOPLE!! As for sound.. They will never be able to add sound! What would you need a cell phone service for? Anyone could buy and iPhone and just use it over wifi, and they have a live web came with voice! AT&T would lose a lot of bussiness.. now if you call the person you'd like to see, you can knock live, during your conversation, and just take turns knocking! This app is by far one of THE BEST apps in the app store!

I am shocked that this app is free! I shared it with a friend and she felt the same way. This is THE must-have app for every iPhone. Don't delay, the developers will realize that they could charge a fortune for a powerful and useful app like this. Get it while it's free!

I am amazed with the technology of this app.we haven't had the problems that others have,and love this app.the only thing I would like to see in the future is both phones streaming what they see instead of just the knocker.other than than fantastic app!

The last update did the trick!!!!! Working perfect now over wifi. Still gotta try over 3g. Using 3gs on a tripod to watch my infant play in the basement. Watching on a touch. Will post again when I try over 3g.

I did not work after I updated also, then I deleted the program an reinstalled and just put in my user and pw and all contacts came back. All good

My wife experienced complications during her pregnancy this week and as a result was put in the ICU after delivering. Baby had additional conplications and had to be admitted to the NICU for monitoring. Long story short, being an Iphone App geek, I found this app and was able to give my wife great comfort by setting a video feed from my Iphone in the NICU on the 3rd floor of the Hospital to her Iphone on the ICU on the 2nd floor so she could periodically monitor her newborn. Thanks for making this App available.

This app finally works as advertised! It streams decent, but choppy video very well. It connected instantly with no problems. Love it. I wouldn't mind the addition of audio.
